Old hotel but the location near city center so that can find some cafe & restaurants easily. The amenities & facilities need some improvement and the rooms too. Service is good with friendly staffs to serve us.

Booked a last-minute stay at the Copthorne Hotel Auckland City for one night on May 29 in a Superior King Room.
The location is very central, which was perfect for my needs – easy access to the CBD, waterfront, and transport. Staff at the 24-hour front desk were friendly and check-in was smooth. Having private parking was a bonus.That said, the room felt a bit tired and in need of minor repairs – dated fittings and general wear and tear were noticeable. It was fine for a short stay, but could use some refreshing to match expectations.Good for a night if you need a central, no-fuss option in Auckland.

Excellent location, staff were very friendly and the food at the restaurant was surprisingly good. Rooms are old and tidied and need an upgrade

The layout of the room is a bit strange. I couldn't reach the sockets on either side, so I had to take out the ironing board. The hotel feels a bit old and the hygiene is not very good. The breakfast is also average, but it is a good choice for one night.

I loved that when I arrived late morning I was able to check in straight away as there was a room available. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed by food at the hotel, good size servings and tasty.
