"A nice and comfort hotel that attached to DP mall semarang with chic and modern looks. It was a 3 star hotel with stylish ambience and clean as well tidy. Perfect for solo or family traveler who love to explore city and its surroundings because rooms inc located in the center of semarang city and walking distance to the famous Lawang Sewu tourist destination. The rooms are quite small but clean and comfy with standard amenities. if you need any other things you can ask/call the hotel staff. The foods are many variant and changes each day as the taste are ok but good enough to accomodate your morning breakfast. Also try their other menu from the restaurant, it has a lit of options with reasonable price. The lobby area are cool with the pool table and cozy sofas, you can hang out for hours just for work or doing tour own studf with your laptops. Shopping and other foods you can find just besode the hotel as DP mall attached to it. from morning to midnight. The location also very near to any other attraction or tourist spot in town so it is easy to getting around. Finally the staff are great and polite with their warm hospitality 👍🏻"

I would like to express our appreciation for the overall experience during our recent stay at Gumaya. The hospitality, cleanliness, and amenities provided were commendable and made our trip very enjoyable.
However, I regret to inform you that our otherwise pleasant stay was disrupted on our final night. Without prior notice or permission, one of your housekeeping supervisors entered our room abruptly. This unexpected intrusion not only compromised our privacy but also left us feeling uncomfortable and surprised, especially considering the high standard of service we had experienced throughout the rest of our stay.
We understand that housekeeping plays a critical role in maintaining the hotel, but we believe that guests’ privacy and consent should be respected at all times. We kindly ask that this matter be looked into and appropriate measures taken to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We hope to return in the future under better circumstances.

KKevin JohanesHad a little problem when checking in as im booked the studio 30 room since 2 weeks before even paid 900 thousand more than a cousin who booked the hotel 2 days before but when im checking in they said my booking is studio 25 not knowing that Trip.com using 3rd and 4th party for the booking causing misunderstanding and thus i had to wait for 1 hour with babies crying. Luckily the problem solved but that is one of the worst experience booking with trip.com. Still, i will give them chance again as theyre fixing the problem and give small gesture for apologizing

PPhilippe888I was not expecting such company (ACCOR) or website (CTRIP) to use fake picture to sell a room. When we chose a worldwide brand, we are expecting to get a worldwide standard, which is a fair value for money and knowing what we can get, no more, not less because we have a well known and accepted standard ... that we can trust. The rooms at 2nd level were definitely out-of-date not to say anything else and not the standing of a Novotel.

1. On the 2nd day before I left, I asked the receptionist to tell Housekeeping to clean our room, and I also complained that the bathroom in our other room (I booked 2 rooms) was always flooded with water. When we returned to the hotel at 10 p.m. It looks like our bathroom hasn't been cleaned, it looks like there's only been a change of towels. I saw that the towel was torn and faded, and the shower room was still flooded with water when I showered. After I complained again to the receptionist, the technician came to fix it, and at 23.15, the housekeeper also came to clean the bathroom.
2. On the 4th day morning, we also complained to the receptionist, that the Air Conditioning in our room 129 was not cold, but no technician came. Until 3 o'clock in the morning we couldn't stand it because our room was very hot, and we asked to change rooms. But the receptionist so many excuses, and it wasn't until 4 am that we were given another room. This is very bad because we couldn't sleep all night from 31 Dec 2023 to 1 January 2024 at 4 am.
Due to that problems, I asked the hotel to please refund our 4th day payment because we couldn't sleep well, due to poor service.

BBackupThe location is very strategic, in the middle of the city. The price is affordable. The building is also still new. But the AC isn't cold, and the downside is something you really need to consider: if it rains, it floods! I've read reviews about flooding, I don't think it will be a problem. Turns out it's troublesome
